One email address, what to put in your message, and what Campaign 08 Blog can and cannot help with.

This is where you get in touch with the people behind Campaign 08 Blog. We keep the process simple on purpose: a single address for everything to do with our social media and political campaigns coverage, and a few notes below on how to make a message easy to reply to.

Write there and a human opens it. We never built a helpdesk system and have no plans to, because the volume does not need one.

Who is on the other end

Whoever picks up your message has their name on articles here. We keep it that way so nobody can hide behind a shared support identity.

Response times

Most messages get an answer within two working days. Longer questions take longer, and when something needs checking before we can give a straight answer we would rather be slow than wrong.

Things we cannot help with

We are a site that writes about social media and political campaigns, not a service that acts for you. That means no account recovery, no standing between you and a third party, and no one to one advice. The reasoning is in the legal notice.

Proposals and press

Same address, with partnership in the subject so it surfaces. The editorial policy spells out our line on paid links, and reading it first tends to answer the question you were going to ask.

How to write a useful message

Detail up front is the whole difference between a quick answer and a fortnight of clarifying questions.

  1. Say what you need in the first two sentences. Background afterwards.
  2. Give the exact page address if your message is about something we published, plus what you expected to read and what you found instead.
  3. Add the browser and device if something looks broken, and a screenshot if you have one.

If we got it wrong

If we published something inaccurate, say so plainly and point at the sentence. Corrections are handled under our editorial policy. You do not need to be polite about it, only specific.
